The Alta Hawks, the three-time reigning state champs in Utah's largest high school classification, dismantled the Pleasant Grove Vikings in both Varsity and Junior Varsity contests on Friday, September 18. The Varsity Vikings were crushed 9-0, while the JV Vikings managed to score once in a 7-1 debacle.The Vikings were relieved to remember that these matches only count once in the loss column.
PGHS faces Lone Peak on Tuesday, September 15, for an attempt at redemption.
