How's that for a headline?
The headline might be the most intriguing thing about Saturday's game, which pitted the first place team in the league with the next-to-last team in the league. The outcome was predictable: Team Spirit prevailed 7-0. Here's how bad it got--the opposing coach, through the referee, asked our coach if it would be OK to play a 25 minute second half because the game was so lopsided. Toward the end of the game, TS was instructed by the coach to stop taking shots on the goal and just play "keep away" on their end of the field. When that started, the referee decided that the game was over and called time. I'm not sure the second half was even 25 minutes. But not one person protested.
Wednesday's game has been moved to Friday, so you'll have to wait a few more days for the update. As it stands now, after six games played, Team Spirit is in first place in the league, outscoring their opponents 47-3.

It must be completely boring winning every game. "Will somebody please challenge us?" I'm sure that is the new chant. Maybe their name needs to be The Annialators. It's just as catchy. Go Team Spirit!!!
