Lance working with Shingo Prize

FAST FORWARD TO 1:32 minutes into this video, and you'll notice Utah State University's Shingo Prize group being recognized. I work for this group in research since May 08, and am helping develop an Education system to train businesses how to be more efficient in processes.

The Shingo Prize is tied to the Huntsman College of Business at USU, although it operates as a separate entity. (As complicated at it sounds, it simply means we operate like a small business, but a portion of our profits go to the Huntsman College of Business.) Shingo Prize website

In a nut shell, Shingo Prize educates professionals on how to implement the Toyota Production System, also call "Lean Operations." (Toyota attributes their success over GM, Ford and other American Auto makers for the last 30 years to their Toyota Production System.) We have 3-4 sensei who travel worldwide to deliver training to groups like the Air Force, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Autoliv, Delphi, and Boeing.

Yes, it does, doesn't it? Thanks Geret, I intend to help initiate the combination of Lean Operational Excellence and Accounting. Should be great.
