I'm not as good as g-dawg, but I'll do my best. Saturday was the last day of Soccer for Sadie and Porter. They had a great season and loved the entire time, I guess unless it was snowing or raining and cold, but other then that they loved it. This was Saidie's and Porter's 1st year playing and it showed. They both knew how to kick the ball, well kind of, but at the end of the year they were both stopping the ball and controling it very well. Sadie learned quick to be a team player by passing to the open player. She played defense most of the time and enjoyed being a key person in keeping the ball from going into the net. She learned to charge and be a gressive. Porter started off slow and the other boys who had 2 years more experience did a lot of the controling and goal making. By the second half of the season Porter had found his nitch, the "big kick" and "wheels." Our team learned to back up when Porter kicked in the ball. It took the same kid getting knocked over twice in one game to learn to back up. Porter loves to pound the ball when it's in the wrong end of the field then turn on the speed and run around the pack to boot it again, out of bounds. The second half of the season Porter has really impoved by controlling his big kicks. Yes, he still boots it but now he'll boot it out front then speed around the group to controll the ball and crush it into the net. It has been a great season and next season they both have signed up again and this time Dad will be Porter's coach.

Go, Coach Giles!!
Wow!! That was fun, it was like I was just there.
We are trying to put together our own family blog so we'll let everyone know.
Love these pictures. And may I say, if I haven't already, Welcome Jason to the land of cable internet. I will no longer call you a caveman. Oops. I don't think I ever called you that to your face before. Much love.
Thanks for your encouragement.
Wow, nice photos. Sadie looks very content protecting the net. As for Porter, he can get more energy out, eh?
