It has been really warm lately (can't say hot. Hot is 118, right, Jess?). Our house is muggy and I always feel sticky and I haven't felt at a comfortable temperature for a while, until today. Every Tuesday people from our ward get together and do fun activities. Today, we had a picnic at Bridal Veil Falls. We ate under the cool shade of the trees and then made the short hike to the falls. The water was freezing! And just when we got to the falls, the sun clouded over and rain started to fall. It was heaven. My feet in the water and the breeze blowing cool off of the ice melt. Frigid rain splashing my bare skin. The wind brushing my arms and legs raising goose bumps. I know you weren't there, but I hope you now feel cooler in the telling of it.
