Good morning to all. Last night we had a large rain strom and it was nice. So anyway, this morning I went our to pull my trash can out for the trashman and I noticed some newly dug up dirt, so when I moved the can there was a very noticable hole. Jenae was out with me and I said put the hose in it and she did and a small rodent of some kind came out. And like Jenae, she gathered the kids and brought them outside. I picked it up, with gloves, and we showed the kids. It was neat nature show to start the kids off first thing. Aubrey wanted to hug it and Porter wanted us to let it climb on the house, and Sadie wanted to keep it. It was kind of cute but after holding if for that short of time fleas started climbing out of its fur so we said that's enough and I took it away.
