PG JV Wacks West Jordan, Maddie Scores

The PGHS JV Vikings made the most of their outing away from the friendly confines of Viking Stadium by defeating West Jordan 8-0. Madison Giles had a goal and two assists. The JV squad concludes their preseason with a perfect record of 4-0 and four shutouts.

The Varsity side also finishes the preseason 4-0 for the first time ever. In fact, in the past 8 years, PGHS has only won four games in an ENTIRE SEASON three times. If the team can win their next game--which is their first region contest--at home against a tough Hillcrest squad, it will be the first time in recorded history that PGHS has won five games in an ENTIRE SEASON.

Will PG find victory next week at home against the Huskies and usher in a new era of success for Viking girls soccer? Tune in to find out!

Wow, very suspenseful. The soccer team sounds my Hoquiam High School football team. The underclassmen may be motivating the upperclassmen. Go Maddie!
