Mars (or Southern Utah)


Sometimes I come across something that's just too interesting not to share--like this picture of Mars, for example. This is a picture from Spirit which was taken in September. The black rocks in the picture could easily be mistaken for scrub brush of some kind. It's just so cool to me that we can look at a color, digital, crystal clear picture of the surface of Mars. Wow, great picture. When I was studying Astronomy, our ability to see other planets, stars and galaxies really blew me away. Thank you for the inspiration...
