Just news
Hello all, or just the two who actually read and post these days. Yeah, that's a slam to those of you who don't post. Just wanted to give you a little taste of Groberg life. Amanda had her first informal guitar recital. We have a dear older friend who was in the hospital for 15 days recently and we thought that the best thing to help her recover was to hear our awesome guitar skills. I have been learning with Amanda. It gets to be really fun when she plays the notes and I can play the chords to songs. Anyway, as you can imagine, we were received with much delight! Lucy can't wait until she starts the fiddle in about two years. Since we didn't want to leave her out, she chose to play a drum with Amanda and me. Yeah, we were awesome!! Our summer has been pretty fun. The girls are playing more and more with each other everyday. Just the other day I couldn't get them to stop. One is a horse, one is a kitten and the bad witch kidnaps them one at a time. Ya know, that kind of stuff. There is always a game going on at me house, a pretend game. I'm often asked to join in as the bad witch or the bad guy or the bad pirate. . . Do you see a pattern? Amanda always has great scripts for us all to follow. Lucy is beginning to come into her own, too. What a strange house we live in. They are going to think all of this is normal and be surprised when other kids don't like to pretend as much as they do:) Anyway, that is a peek into my daily life. Love to all. Hope to hear from more of you soon.

Your post was sooo fun to read Jen! I got the picture very well indeed. When you just relax and write what is happenen it is fun to read. I'm sorry about your friend, I hope there is something the doctors can do for her...enjoy what you know about her and what you've learned form her and love on her too......
I think it is so cool that you guys did that. You do so many acts of service for others. You really are a great example. You rock!!!!
Hey there Jenn,
So, you are now sporting a band? Very nice. Brianne is teaching me "Adle Vice," or whatever that one is...the guitar is really unique, and I love it! We'll have to jam together.
The funny thing about the guitar playing...well...it seems I've only been practicing "House of the Rising Sun," "Malaguena," and "Country Roads" for a while...and with not much improvement. Hmmm...more practice?
