So much has happened in the last few weeks. First, I'll quickly mention Amanda's first day of school! I can't believe it is already here. On Friday, she let me in on a little secret: she is scared to go to school. In her words, "If I don't know anyone but me, that is a little scary." Needless to say, her first day was great. Geoff and I got to be with her for the first few minutes of her first day. When it was our time to go, she was ready for us to. I have a feeling she will love school.
About two weeks ago, our family went to stay at the Groberg cabin in Island Park. Our vacation was much more planned out this time so we got great use of our 5 days there. Every day we had a big activity. We floated down the river on a little boat they called a crawdad. Of course we had to go horsbackriding again, where Amanda got her own horse. Man, she looked so small on top of that horse. They gave her a little whip that fit on her wrist. Her legs weren't long enough to be able to kick the horse. Believe me, she had to use that whip a time or two. I'm over my little heartattacks by now:) We spent a day at West Yellowstone watching an IMax movie and renting bikes to toole around that beautiful city. We actually rented bikes twice, we had so much fun. We hiked to a place called Mesa falls which was breathtaking. Oh yeah, on the way to the cabin, we stopped at Bear World where a bear stole our temporary plates off of our car and ate some (for more details on this or any other story, call me). We also hiked to John Sack's cabin at Big Springs. Geoff and Amanda floated down the river, just those two, again. It is a two and a half hour trip and they had a blast. Lucy and I just played back at the cabin.
Anyway, we had a great time. It is always hard to come back to real life after a great vacation. Like Amanda said while we were at the cabin, " I want to live here but I want to go home, too." Amen.

All I can say is, PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES....Where are the PICTURES? and oh yea, that sounded like an excellent trip. If you ever go again and need some company we are always up to a little fun. Call me:)
WOw jenn, sounds as if the trip was stellar. I can't wait to go on a trip with my girl Brianne. By the way, I've been dating her for 4 months. She's up in Logan right now, and I'm trying to get up to Salt Lake for General Conference to see her, so we'll see what happens...I agree with Jasonic, where're all the pictures?
